Neon Genesis Evangelion: Abyss

The story takes place in Arcadia, once known as Paradise. However, the region is now plagued by an increasing number of demonic creatures called Thanatos. As these beings cause massive destruction amidst this dark state of affairs, people pin their hopes on ancient legends. In Arcadia, two major powers coexist: the Celestia Order, which has long valued tradition, and the Adifakt Consortium, which prioritizes technology. Arcadia has now entered an era of turmoil. The protagonist, Angelique, is a young woman who lost her parents to the demon Thanatos and studies diligently with the hope of becoming a doctor. Before her appears a young man who calls her the "Queen's Egg." Alongside this somewhat domineering youth, Angelique becomes involved in battles against the Thanatos. Thrown suddenly into combat where death is a possibility, what does she see there...?
