Consequently, numerous nations and corporations began fighting over treasures sunk to the seabed, giving rise to a new profession known as deep-sea salvage. Aika Sumeragi: A top-tier expert in deep-sea salvage. Dr. Hagen: A madman who plots to destroy the world in order to create his ideal nation. To thwart Dr. Hagen's ambitions, Aika Sumeragi and her companions engage in battle... In 2007, the new series *AIKa R-16: VIRGIN MISSION* was released. Serving as a prequel, it depicts Aika's first adventures during her high school years.
