For Wallace (voiced by Peter Sallis) and Gromit, who love cheese, life without it is simply unimaginable. This time, our genius inventor Wallace becomes convinced that the yellow moon is covered in an inexhaustible supply of every flavor of cheese imaginable. He gathers materials and tools to build a spaceship. After great effort, the rocket finally roars into space and heads for the Moon. On the lunar surface, cheese is indeed everywhere. As Wallace meticulously searches for his favorite flavors, he unexpectedly encounters a coin-operated robot. However, the robot does not appreciate outsiders plundering the Moon's cheese reserves and devises ways to drive Wallace and his companions away. Meanwhile, the gluttonous Wallace remains completely unaware that danger is closing in on him... The film won the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film in 1990.
