The protagonist, Ren Mihashi, loves baseball. In junior high, he became the starting pitcher for his school team thanks to his grandfather's connections. After graduating, Ren moved to a different area and enrolled in Nishiura High School. Due to the trauma from his junior high days, Ren only watched the activities of the high school baseball club from the sidelines. However, since this high school's baseball club was newly established, he immediately received an invitation from Abe, the team's catcher. Abe highly praised Ren's pitching, believing he possessed exceptional control. Yet more than that, Abe appreciated Ren's personality as being well-suited for the position of pitcher. As other players joined, the entire Nishiura High School baseball team assembled and began to move forward.
