Set in the near future, people around the world enjoy a freedom and equality that are merely superficial. In one part of Asia, a group of life's failures gather together in "Lags Town," also known as the Backstreet of Garbage. This story unfolds as a stylish action detective drama set in Lags Town, behind the facade of false prosperity. Here lies an all-purpose agency called the "S&A Detective Agency," composed of four members: Shu, a former hot-blooded detective who lost everything due to political struggles; Akira, a mysterious beautiful young man; and two high school girl apprentice detectives, Manami and Ayaka. Shu, who spends his days aimlessly as a detective, becomes involved in investigating shocking incidents in Lags Town after the appearance of Sarah, a woman with amnesia. By coming to terms with his past, Shu and his companions embark on a new path.
