The protagonist, Tomoharu Natsume, begins living alone upon entering high school. He appears to be an utterly ordinary student with nothing special about him. However, he does have one slight difference from others: he is possessed by the ghost of his childhood friend, Misao Minakami. After moving into his new residence, "Mei-ou-tei," Tomoharu hopes to enjoy a relaxed and happy life. But his wish is completely shattered when a beautiful woman named Shuri Kurosaki arrives to deliver a suitcase on behalf of her brother, only for it to be seized by a girl dressed as a shrine maiden, Kaname Takatsuki... More importantly, whoever obtains this suitcase bears the responsibility of uncovering the "hidden truth of the world."
