Ghost Hunt

The protagonist is Mai, a young woman with precognitive and psychic abilities. She assisted Kazuya Shibuya (alias Naru), the director of the Shibuya Psychic Research (SPR) company, during a curse incident at her high school's old building. After the case was resolved, she stayed on as his assistant. What makes SPR unique is that it not only uses supernatural powers to solve incidents but also explores them from a scientific perspective. The initial rivals in their work eventually put aside their differences and collaborate to resolve cases. The team includes Naru, a cold, handsome, and brilliant narcissist; Lin, an enigmatic guardian from Hong Kong; monks from Mount Koya who join one after another; a witch who has never demonstrated her powers; a beautiful female medium; and a young foreign priest. Everyone contributes their strengths to different cases. "All supernatural phenomena are the shared mission of all psychics!" Instead of simply attributing strange events to evil spirits, SPR uses both supernatural powers and scientific methods to investigate and explain incidents rigorously. "Occurring in this situation under these conditions is a natural phenomenon."
