Synopsis

Based on the third novel in the series, 'D: Demon Slaying'. It was released in the United States on August 25, 2000, under the title 'Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust'. Compared to the previous OVA adaptation, this film received high praise from the original author, Hideyuki Kikuchi. In Japan, it first premiered in theaters on April 21, 2001, featuring English dubbing with Japanese subtitles. After a period during which the English-dubbed DVD was distributed, the Japanese-dubbed version, which had been produced prior to the English release, was subsequently issued on DVD. The licensed DVD distributed by Proware in Taiwan includes both English and Japanese audio tracks.
