Amaetsuki

In the winter of her first year of high school, Rikugou Hatokei visits a next-generation museum to see a touring exhibition about the end of the Edo shogunate, featuring the most advanced technology. However, while taking a walk, she is attacked by suddenly appearing Nue monsters and transported to an alternate world called "Ugetsu," which resembles the late Edo period where humans and yokai coexist. Kuchiba, a girl who saved Hatokei from the Nue, and Shino Meikon, who came to Ugetsu after visiting the same exhibition with Hatokei, join her in exploring ways to return to their original world. Later, Hatokei meets Ginshu, a miko who stands on the side of humans, and Brahma, who stands on the side of yokai, and gradually begins to learn about her mission. The story unfolds around whether she will become the destroyer of Ugetsu in order to return home, or abandon returning home in order to protect Ugetsu.
