On the day of her entrance ceremony, Fumi Manjoume reunited with Akane Oodaira, a childhood friend who had attended a different girls' school for ten years. The lively and cheerful Akane and the modest, crybaby Fumi soon rekindled their childhood bond. Also present were Kyomi Sugimoto, the cool captain of the basketball team and a kindhearted student; and Keiko Iizumi, Akane's classmate who always gives off a mature impression. From then on, these four girls from two schools embarked on a complex and delicate youth story that hovered between friendship and romance. "What would you do if the person I liked was a girl?"
