Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

The term "SEED" stands for Superior Evolutionary Element Destined-factor, meaning "highly evolved genetic factor." In C.E. 70, following the tragedy of "Bloody Valentine," war broke out between the Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T., lasting nearly a year. The story begins when Kira Yamato's colony, Heliopolis, is suddenly attacked by Z.A.F.T. special forces led by his childhood friend, Athrun Zala. After Bloody Valentine, P.L.A.N.T. launched its independence war with a strategy to first scatter "Neutron Jammer" devices underground, causing an energy crisis on Earth, and then use new Mobile Suits (MS) to gradually capture the mass drivers near the equator, thereby locking the Earth Alliance within Earth so they could no longer threaten P.L.A.N.T. Although Z.A.F.T. successfully captured JOSH-A, they fell into an ambush and lost more than half of their forces. Subsequently, Z.A.F.T. forcibly took Panama with a small number of troops, but ultimately, the Alliance, having established its own MS units, recaptured the mass driver and returned to space. Back in space, the Alliance used nuclear weapons to take the PLANT frontline fortress Boaz and was about to strike directly at PLANT's capital. Meanwhile, Z.A.F.T. deployed its remaining forces in the final theater of operations, "Armonea Duvalier," to launch a defensive battle. The result of this final decisive battle is...
