FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN

The story begins two years after the ending of Final Fantasy VII (1997). Just as people believed the world had achieved peace, a disease known as "Geostigma" began to spread, once again threatening the world with crisis. Meanwhile, Cloud, the hero who once fought to save the world, lives in isolation and solitude. Two years after the protagonists defeated Sephiroth and saved the planet from a massive meteor strike, cases of the mysterious illness "Geostigma" are reported across various regions. The protagonist, Cloud, remains depressed following Aerith's death. One day, a mysterious trio with an unknown connection to Sephiroth appears. Not only do they pose a direct threat to Cloud, but they also carry out a series of secret plans, drawing the protagonists—who had returned to their respective lives—back into turmoil.
