Vampire Knight

On a cold, snowy night, Yuki unexpectedly encounters a vampire. On the brink of death, Kaname Kuran saves her and brings her to Cross Academy for refuge. In addition to the Day Class attended by ordinary students, Cross Academy also has a Night Class composed of beautiful elite students. The Night Class hides a secret unknown to the Day Class students—all members of the Night Class are vampires. Ten years later, as one of the few Day Class students who knows this secret, Yuki serves as a "Guardian" (or "Prefect") alongside Zero Kiryu, another Day Class student, to protect the academy and keep the secret safe. Kaname Kuran is the class representative of the Night Class at Cross Academy. The Day Class attends school during the day, while the Night Class attends at night, with both classes alternating use of the school facilities. This arrangement exists because all members of the Night Class are vampires. And the respected senior Kaname is even known as a pureblood vampire, described as "the vampire among vampires."
