Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water

The story is set at the 1889 Paris World's Fair, where two people and a lion meet atop the Eiffel Tower: Nadia, a circus girl with a mysterious blue gemstone; Jean, a boy who loves airplanes and inventions; and King, Nadia's friend, a small lion. Nadia and Jean flee from Gargoyle and his companions, who covet her gemstone, beginning a journey to find Nadia's homeland. Along the way, they encounter Marie, a young girl who survived on an island occupied by Grandis (also translated as Neo-Atlantis Empire) president Carle. However, Nadia, Marie, and King are abducted by Carle. To rescue them, Jean teams up with Gargoyle's trio, meeting the all-purpose submarine Nautilus and Captain Nemo, and ultimately becoming involved in battles against Carle. The work primarily revolves around the legendary continental empire possessing ancient civilization, the Atlantis Empire. The first part features underwater and aerial warfare between the Nautilus and Neo-Atlantis using advanced machinery created by the ancient Atlanteans. The second part depicts a leisurely life on an uninhabited island and amusing events in Africa. The third part resembles Space Battleship Yamato, featuring new battles between the Nautilus and Neo-Atlantis in space.
