The protagonist, Kyosuke Kasuga, must move whenever his family's secret is discovered. His family possesses psychic powers inherited from their mother's side, while his father is an ordinary person. This time, they are forced to move for the seventh time after his younger sister, Kurumi, uses her powers to run 100 meters in three seconds during a sports day. After transferring to a new school, Kyosuke encounters a girl named Madoka Ayukawa on a long staircase and later discovers she is his classmate. Meanwhile, Hikaru Hiyama, a junior student at the same school who has known Madoka since childhood, develops feelings for Kyosuke due to a certain event, marking the beginning of a love triangle.
