Yukino Miyazawa is the school's model student, perfect in grades, personality, and appearance. As a result, her classmates idolize her. However, the real Yukino is deeply vain and will do almost anything to gain praise from others. Her good temper is an act, her high grades are achieved through all-night study sessions, and her cute demeanor is the result of rigorous practice in front of a mirror. Only at home does Yukino drop the mask, becoming an unkempt, selfish ordinary girl. Upon entering high school, Yukino's nemesis appears, completely disrupting her life. Soichiro Arima comes from a family of doctors and excels in academics, sports, and every other field. He is even more flawless than Yukino and is considered the perfect prince charming by the female students. As attention shifts toward Arima, Yukino experiences being ignored for the first time. Consequently, she declares Arima her archenemy, begins formulating plans to defeat him, and resolves to reclaim her position as the center of attention at school.
