The Legend of Qin: Hundred Steps Flying Sword

Though the realm is settled, chaos has not ended. Gai Nie, the world's greatest swordsman, takes along Jing Tianming, the son of an old friend, and embarks on a perilous journey to escape the pursuit of the King of Qin. At this moment, young Tianming knows nothing about his lineage or what awaits him in the future, yet the hand of fate has already unfurled a magnificent scroll beneath his feet. At Canyue Valley on the border of Qin, Gai Nie, with one man and one sword, slaughters three hundred elite cavalrymen of the great Qin empire. This world's greatest swordsman, covered in wounds, shows young Tianming what it truly means to be strong. News reaches the Emperor, who flies into a rage and orders Prime Minister Li Si to eradicate all forces resisting Qin. Li Si proposes a strategy of fighting the jianghu with the jianghu—a method of using poison to counter poison. Wei Zhuang, a disciple of Ghost Valley and former noble of the state of Han, was defeated twenty years ago by his senior brother, Gai Nie. His lifelong wish is to defeat his brother and claim the title of the world's greatest swordsman. To achieve this, he does not hesitate to risk his life, cultivating forbidden secret arts of the Ghost Valley sect until his strength becomes unfathomable. Li Si uses Gai Nie as bait to lure Wei Zhuang out of seclusion. On their path of flight, Tianming meets Shao Yu, descendant of a great general from the state of Chu; masters of the Mohist school; and Gao Yue, a mysterious girl whose background remains unknown. The Four Heavenly Kings under Wei Zhuang employ bizarre tactics, pursuing the group step by step. Enduring hardships, Tianming relies on his extraordinary wit and courage to finally defeat each opponent. However, Wei Zhuang schemes meticulously, setting traps everywhere, and eventually drives Tianming and Gai Nie into a desperate corner. Wei Zhuang's purpose in orchestrating all of this is to force Gai Nie into a true duel. A fateful battle waited for twenty years inevitably erupts between the two disciples of the Ghost Valley sect, representing the schools of Vertical and Horizontal alliances.
