Ghost Stories Restaurant

The story takes place in Yamazakura Town. A transfer student, Sho Komoto, who is a returnee child, suddenly joins the class of the protagonist, Azora Oozora. Sho is well-versed in supernatural tales and collects ghost stories from around the world. He becomes particularly interested in the location Azora described as a site of paranormal activity in Yamazakura Town—the "Ghost Stories Restaurant"—and invites her to visit it. Since then, Azora frequently encounters strange events. According to Azora's accounts, Yamazakura Town has many sites associated with paranormal activity; consequently, it is also known as the "Cursed Town." Examples include "Yamazakura Shrine," surrounded by woods; "Granny Mountain," located behind the shrine; the high-rise "Reaper Hospital"; the "Abandoned Car Graveyard" piled up along the riverbank; the "Ghost Housing Complex" beside the river; and the ruins of a Western-style restaurant that is rumored to operate at night, the "Ghost Stories Restaurant." These are all locations featured in the subsequent anime episodes.
