Cowboy Bebop

In 2021, the realization of faster-than-light travel technology allowed humanity to move freely throughout the solar system. However, a design flaw in this technology caused the explosion of the moon, drawing countless lunar fragments toward Earth and resulting in an unprecedented catastrophe. The survivors fled Earth and began establishing homes across the solar system. Due to this disaster, national governments and other authorities became extremely unstable, making public safety a significant challenge. To apprehend criminals despite insufficient manpower, some organizations began allowing individuals to capture wanted fugitives in exchange for bounties, giving rise to the profession of "bounty hunter." Spike and Jet are bounty hunters who make a living capturing fugitives and collecting rewards aboard their spaceship, the Bebop. During their interstellar journey, they encounter Faye, a beautiful woman burdened with massive debt and obsessed with money, and Ed, a computer prodigy, and they adopt Ein, a data dog with high intelligence. From then on, the four humans and one dog wander through the vast universe, experiencing various joys and sorrows in their own lives and those of others, while searching for their respective pasts.
