Koihime†Musou: Shin

The TV anime "Koihime†Musou" is an adaptation of the fantasy adventure game "Koihime†Musou ~Doki Doki☆Full of Girls in Romance of the Three Kingdoms~," released by BaseSon for PC in January 2007. The series became a major topic of discussion because famous warriors from the historical Three Kingdoms period are all depicted as beautiful girls. In October 2009, it returned to television screens under the title "Shin Koihime†Musou." This new work is based on the PC game "Shin Koihime†Musou ~Otome Ryouran☆Sangokushi Engi~," released in December 2008, and was produced by the same staff team as the previous installment. The story centers on Liu Bei, a character newly added in the game version. Note that this is the real Liu Bei, not the fake one from the previous series. She is voiced by Mai Goto, who previously portrayed Mizuki Hayama in "ef - a tale of memories / melodies" and Mika Nogizaka in "The Secret of Nogizaka Haruka." Goto also voiced Liu Bei in the game (credited there under the pseudonym Anku Shion).
