Touch

Tatsuya and Kazuya Uesugi are twin brothers. They have been inseparable since childhood with Minami Asakura, who lives next door. So close were the three that their parents, perhaps overwhelmed by their energy, pooled their resources to build a home where all three could live, study, and play together. However, as they entered middle school, they began to become aware of the implications of this "two boys and one girl" situation. Everyone around them assumes that the bright and cute Minami is a perfect match for the academically excellent Kazuya. In contrast, Tatsuya, the older brother, is universally recognized as the underachiever, lagging behind Kazuya in both grades and sports. Yet, Kazuya recognizes Tatsuya's hidden talent, even though Tatsuya dislikes putting in effort. Meanwhile, Minami often clashes with Tatsuya but seems secretly fond of him, leaving Kazuya uneasy. Mitsuru Adachi's "Touch World" weaves delicate movements of youthful hearts into everyday scenes. Its bright and refreshing world grows clearer in memory over time, returning alongside bittersweet recollections. This eternal masterpiece, featuring charming characters and perfectly captured episodes, finally awaits its long-desired first pitch.
