Book of Bantorra

The TV anime "Book of Bantorra," which began airing on October 2 this year, is an adaptation of the fantasy novel series "Book of Bantorra" written by Yukito Yamagata and illustrated by Shigeki Kojima. The story centers on the battles between Armed Librarians, who possess special abilities such as creating infinite swarms of ants, predicting the future, and stopping time, and members of the Goddrowning Religious Order, who have similar powers. Since ancient times, the souls of the dead have been sealed into "books" by the Past God Bantorra and stored in the underground Library of Bantorra. After the gods departed from humanity, the tasks of managing the library and excavating "books" fell to the Armed Librarians. Many criminals also collect, hoard, and misuse "books" for personal gain. Among them, the Goddrowning Religious Order steals others' "books" in accordance with their doctrine, disregarding human life, and constantly clashes with the Armed Librarians.
