A beautiful island in the Pacific Ocean—Shinkai Island. Legend has it that ancient ruins known as the "Underwater Palace" have existed beneath its waters for a long time, and that two real-life female pirates from 300 years ago, "Anne Bonny" and "Mary Read," left behind a vast amount of treasure there. The story begins on this mysterious island. Led by Kogoro, Conan and his friends head to Shinkai Island, located in the Pacific Ocean, to enjoy a pleasant holiday. The azure sea, boundless natural scenery, and the two legends associated with Shinkai Island since ancient times have made this small island a popular resort destination teeming with tourists. Was the hunter's death caused by the legendary treasure? Conan, who rushes to the scene, discovers suspicious points about the death and begins an investigation together with Haibara. Conan and his companions, visiting Shinkai Island for vacation, encounter a group of explorers seeking treasure called "Treasure Seekers." A very eerie atmosphere hangs among them.
