Ponyo

Five-year-old Sosuke lives in a seaside town, with his house perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. One day, he finds a discarded glass bottle washed ashore by the waves, containing a trapped little goldfish named Ponyo. She is the daughter of the Queen of the Sea and had snuck out riding a jellyfish for fun when she got stuck in the bottle. Sosuke takes Ponyo home and keeps her in a plastic basin. Ponyo enjoys her time at Sosuke's house; she likes him, and he likes her too. However, their happy days are short-lived. Ponyo's father, Fujimoto, brings his daughter back to the bottom of the sea. Fujimoto was once a human fisherman who fell in love with the Queen of the Sea and became an inhabitant of the ocean depths. Back home, Ponyo misses Sosuke dearly and makes a bold decision: she wants to become human so she can be with him. With the help of her sisters, she steals her father's magical elixir and swims toward the human world. Unexpectedly, the Life Water, which contains dangerous magical power, goes out of control. The seawater rises, storms rage, her sisters transform into terrifying giant fish, and huge waves crash against the cliff where Sosuke's family lives... The seaside town is flooded. Ponyo never imagined that her wish would bring about such disaster. Can she save Sosuke?
