Synopsis

The story takes place 36 years after "Super Dimension Fortress Macross," where humans and the Zentradi have made peace following their war. In 2038, the 37th Long-Distance Space Migration Fleet—a New Macross-class Super Dimensional Battle Fortress No. 7 (NMCV-007)—is dispatched from Earth to deep space in search of a planet suitable for human life. The series' main narrative begins when they encounter the mysterious Protodeviln in 2045. This work follows Basara Nekki, Mylene Jenius, Ray Lovelock, and Veffidas Feaze as they perform with their rock band Fire Bomber aboard Macross 7.
