Our House's Inari-sama

Long ago, a great spirit fox was enshrined by the Mitsuchi family as their guardian deity. Named Kuugen, he possessed various magical abilities and high intelligence, but due to his constant mischievous pranks, he was eventually sealed away in a shrine on the back mountain by the Mitsuchi priest. Time passed into the modern era, where Takagami Toru, the last descendant of the Mitsuchi family, dreamed of a female yokai. Toru's mother, the head miko of the main Mitsuchi line, sensed an impending danger from this dream. To protect Toru, Kuugen was released from his seal to serve as his guardian spirit. However, the freed Kuugen differed greatly from the image of a great spirit fox found in legend; he was an ordinary being who rolled around the house and whom Toru called "Little Ku." When taking human form, Kuugen becomes a stunning beauty, and can even switch genders?! Using his extraordinary powers, Kuugen resolves various incidents threatening Toru. Thus, Kuugen, Toru, Toru's older brother Noboru, and Akane, a guardian of the Mitsuchi family, are all drawn into an unbelievable story that begins.
