While based on the hugely popular idol-raising game 'THE IDOLM@STER' (the Xbox 360 version by BANDAI NAMCO GAMES is currently on sale), this original anime features bold changes to its setting and story, differing from the source material. This series is titled 'iDOLMASTER-Xenoglossia'. The story is set in Revival Year 107, approximately one hundred years after the moon's destruction in an event known as Lost Artemis. Due to lunar fragments falling to Earth, humanoid mecha called 'iDOLs' that are active in defense against falls have appeared. However, only chosen girls known as 'iDOLMASTERS' can pilot these 'iDOLs.' Their mission is to board their 'iDOLs' and destroy meteors approaching Earth outside the atmosphere, all while attending school daily. What encounters await the protagonists and the giant robot 'iDOLs,' and what kind of idol masters will they become? A new story woven between massive iron robots and young girls begins!!
