Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Sanctuary

Seiya, a young boy born in Japan, resolutely travels to the Greek Sanctuary to undergo the harsh training required to become a Saint. His goal is to find his sister Saori, with whom he had lived after being separated for many years, and to win the Gold Cloth at the Galaxian Wars. During the tournament, Seiya develops an unbreakable friendship with Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, and Ikki, and discovers a secret held by the Pope from thirteen years ago... Thirteen years prior, Sagittarius Aiolos, a Gold Saint, rescued the infant reincarnation of the goddess Athena just as she was about to be killed by the Pope's agents. On his deathbed, he entrusted the baby and the Gold Cloth to Masahumi Kido, a Japanese man. To ensure the Gold Cloth would be given to someone trustworthy, Kido sent one hundred children (in the manga, they are Kido's sons born to ninety-nine different women; in the anime, they are one hundred orphans) around the world to train as Saints. He planned to award the Cloth to the winner of the Galaxian Wars. The reincarnated goddess Athena was none other than Kido's granddaughter, Saori Kido... The story heavily emphasizes loyalty to faith and selfless friendship. It highlights that the burning of "Cosmos," born from such beliefs, is the mystical source of power capable of defeating all dark forces.
