There exists a world very similar to the one we live in, filled with magic. In that world, war and famine are rampant. Magic is a mysterious power that appears in young girls and gradually disappears as they age. Girls who possess this power can move objects without using their hands, levitate them into the air, and create protective fields using magic. These girls, known as witches, are respected by some and feared by others. However, their small power never allowed them to take center stage in history; instead, they served at the sides of those in power, living in the shadows. Then, in the 18th century, humanity experienced a great revolution in magic. By amplifying magic through steam engines, it became a new source of power, allowing human development to make a giant leap forward. The witches became pioneers everywhere, driving the continuous improvement of technology for magical amplification machines. Amplified magic provided massive labor for factories, and even the maintenance of product transport lines relied on magic. Humanity's territory began to expand rapidly... But from that time onward, monstrous creatures frequently appeared before people's eyes. This enemy had sporadic encounter records dating back to ancient times, but they began large-scale activities triggered by the magic revolution. Their true identities are unknown. Their objectives are unknown. Their survival conditions are unknown. These enemies, called "Neuroi" due to their hybrid form of machinery and biology, continuously invaded human territory. They were surrounded by miasma that ordinary people could not approach, causing the earth to rot and devouring metal like locusts. Ordinary armies were helpless against the Neuroi. Was humanity's fate truly sealed? At that moment, someone proposed deploying the witches into battle...
