In a world where humans and machines coexist, the domed city of Romdo is a "paradise without emotions," ruled by complete control. Within this utopian metropolis, mysterious murders occur, and Lil Mayer, a young professional woman from the Citizens Bureau investigating the cases, finds herself surrounded by cryptic messages reading "awakening." After noticing these messages, Lil is suddenly attacked by strange humanoid monsters. Who are these creatures attacking her, and who are the people involved? Soon, wrapped in enigmatic mysteries woven like spirals, an invisible voice lures Lil toward the unknown outside world. The story unfolds with its dim colors and silence, a glowing urban setting, robots called Autoreivs, and character development derived from philosophical concepts, all meticulously crafted. Featuring unconventional visual expressions through the continuous appearance of strange monsters, machinery, and action scenes, the narrative centers around the beautiful prosecutor Lil, revealing intertwined secrets and unimaginable truths involving beings that resemble humans but are actually known as Proxies.
