Shikabane Hime: Aka

One of the sects within the Great Marshal lineage of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, Kōgonshū, possesses a mystical technique that transforms female corpses still clinging to the mortal world into "Corpse Princesses"—undead beings capable of thought, emotion, and movement. Corpse Princesses possess abilities several times greater than those of ordinary humans and are immortal. They must form contracts with monks from Kōgonshū to slay other zombies plaguing the human realm. Once they have destroyed one hundred and eight such zombies, their contract is fulfilled, allowing them to ascend to heaven. Hanagami Ōri, a boy taken in by Tategami Keisei, a contract monk of Kōgonshū, encounters the beautiful girl Hoshimura Makina, who is a Corpse Princess bound to Keisei by a contract of "Fate."
