Morioka Kōhei, a photographer who specializes exclusively in paranormal photos, travels to an ancient German castle for research and encounters Yūki, a vampire girl. Yūki, imprisoned within the castle, bites Kōhei's blood intending to escape with him as her "servant," but finds that he is immune to her influence. Eventually, Kōhei inadvertently destroys the castle's sealing device, allowing them both to escape. They travel to Japan in search of Yūki's mother. Upon arriving in Japan, Yūki moves into the home shared by Kōhei and his grandfather, imposing herself on their lives with unreasonable demands. Kōhei, who also lost his mother at a young age, sees parallels between himself and Yūki, deciding to protect her as they continue their search for her mother. At this time, Elfriede, another vampire girl, and Count Kincaid appear, seeking to take Yūki back to the castle. What happened to her mother? What fate awaits Yūki and Kōhei?
