There was a man who possessed all the wealth, fame, and power in the world. He was the "Pirate King," Gol D. Roger. With his dying words, he sent people from all over the world to the sea: "My treasure? If you want it, you can have it... Go find it! I left everything there." Later, people around the world called this treasure "One Piece." Many pirates raised their flags and fought each other for One Piece, leading to the era known as the "Great Pirate Era." The protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, searches for like-minded companions on a distant journey, sailing together toward the "Grand Line," with the goal of becoming the "Pirate King."
