Since ancient times, demons have invaded the human world, taking on human forms and surviving by devouring human organs. Powerless against these creatures, humans turned to the half-human, half-demon warriors known as Claymores—also called Great Swords or Silver-Eyed Witches—who wield massive swords and make their living slaying demons, while being feared by those they protect.
