Eureka Seven: Pocket Full of Rainbows

This is another story about Renton and Eureka. The war between humans and the mysterious life forms known as "IMAGE," which suddenly appeared in the South Pacific, has continued for nearly half a century. In 2054 AD, a young soldier was assigned to the combat mothership Nirvash of the People's Liberation Army's 303rd Independent Battalion. The boy's name is Renton, and his goal is to rescue his childhood friend, Eureka, who was taken away by the military eight years ago, and return home. To achieve this dream, Renton boards the KLF he grew up with, the Nirvash, and heads to the battlefield. However, fate continually tests Renton and Eureka's small romance. During an operation where the army recovers its "most important secret," Renton unexpectedly reunites with Eureka. But the joy of their reunion does not last long, and the situation gradually develops in unexpected directions. Mission and emotion, truth and lies, past and future, life and death, reality and dreams, and even Holland—countless difficulties stand before them. As the time for the final battle against the "IMAGE" approaches, the two draw closer to the truth behind the "myth."
