Mobile Suit Gundam 00

In the year 2307 AD, fossil fuels have been exhausted, but humanity has gained a completely new form of energy: three massive orbital elevators and accompanying large-scale solar power generation systems. However, only certain major powers and their allied nations benefit from this system. The three superpower blocs possessing the orbital elevators are the "Union," centered on the United States of America; the "Human Reform League," centered on China, Russia, and India; and the "AEU," centered on Europe. Each superpower bloc continues an ever-expanding zero-sum game for their own prestige and prosperity. Indeed, even into the 24th century, humanity has yet to achieve unity... In this world where conflict cannot end, a private armed organization appears under the banner of "eradicating war through force." Armed with Mobile Suits called "GUNDAM," they are known as Celestial Being (Sorestaru Biingu) "Tennin". Thus, GUNDAM's armed intervention against all acts of war begins.
