Pokémon

Ash, the protagonist living in Pallet Town in the Kanto region, loves Pokémon very much. On his tenth birthday, Ash is permitted to embark on a journey as a Pokémon Trainer. However, despite eagerly anticipating the start of his adventure, he oversleeps on the morning of his departure! Although trainers are supposed to choose their partner Pokémon upon leaving, all that remains for Ash is "Pikachu"! Furthermore, Pikachu refuses to bond with Ash and won't enter a Poké Ball. Though things don't go smoothly between Ash and Pikachu, an incident serves as a turning point, leading them to finally acknowledge each other as partners. They travel from the Kanto region to the Orange Islands. Then, the stage of Ash and Pikachu's adventure shifts to the Johto region. After meeting and parting ways with many different people and Pokémon, Ash and his companions continue to grow through intense Pokémon battles.
