"Pokémon Advanced Generation" is divided into two arcs: the Hoenn Region and the Hoenn League, followed by the Battle Frontier in the Kanto region. Unlike previous storylines, "Advanced Generation" features two main plotlines. Ash strives to compete in the Hoenn League by challenging gyms; after the Hoenn League concludes, he shifts his focus to challenging the newly established Battle Frontier in his hometown of Kanto. Meanwhile, May works toward becoming a Pokémon Coordinator by competing in local Contests to earn Contest Ribbons, aiming to participate in the Grand Festival. Both pursue their respective goals alongside their Pokémon. Incredible creatures known as Pokémon live on this planet. This is the story of Ash, a young boy, and his encounters, adventures, and battles with Pokémon. Ash, who aspires to become a Pokémon Master, sets off with new ideals and his partner Pikachu, arriving in the Hoenn region. There, he meets May, who has just become a Pokémon Trainer, along with her brother Max, and reunites with Brock. Together, they begin their journey through Hoenn, chasing dreams and adventure.
