Pokémon Advanced Generation: Jirachi, Wish Maker

On the night of the once-in-a-thousand-years comet, wishes come true... Ash, May, and Max, aspiring to become great Pokémon Trainers, set off on a new journey with Pikachu. To witness the moment the Thousand-Year Comet appears, they visit Fairns Amusement Park and meet the magicians Butler and Diane. During the magic show, Max hears a faint voice calling out to him... It is Jirachi, the Pokémon that sleeps for a thousand years within its "Cocoon of Slumber" and can grant people's wishes. Jirachi awakens when it encounters a companion with a pure heart on the night of the Thousand-Year Comet. To wake Jirachi, Butler asks Max to be its partner. Sure enough, Jirachi awakens amidst light like that of a kaleidoscope. Although Jirachi can only stay for a brief seven days before disappearing again, Max, who has owned his very own Pokémon for the first time, dotes on Jirachi. The ambitious magician Butler, knowing that Jirachi possesses miraculous power, steals it away and attempts to use it to fulfill his wish. What is Butler's malicious wish? How will Ash and Max overcome their difficulties and successfully rescue their companion? And what kind of parting awaits Max and Jirachi?
