Howl's Moving Castle

Unable to support the family, their stepmother sends Sophie and her two sisters to apprentice at a hat shop. The two sisters soon leave one after another to pursue their own dreams, but only Sophie stays behind. One day, a moving fortress appears near the town. Legend has it that Howl, the master of the fortress, steals the souls of young women, so no girl in town dares to go near him. A wicked witch, jealous of Sophie's hat-making skills, uses magic to turn her into an eighty-year-old woman, and Sophie is forbidden from telling anyone about the curse she has received. With no other choice, Sophie decides to flee the town alone. As night falls, the frail Sophie doesn't get far before reaching the moving castle. Thinking that she is already an old woman anyway, Sophie bravely enters the castle. There, she unexpectedly meets a fire demon who shares a similar fate. The two agree to help each other break their respective curses...
