Sekirei

"Now, let's begin—a new myth, a lovely war chronicle, and a miraculous love story." In 2020, atop the rooftop of a high-rise building in New East Imperial City, a man made this declaration. It was the signal for the entire "Sekirei Plan" to commence. The 108 adorable warriors known as "Sekirei" were released into the human world to search for their respective masters, the Ashikabi—staking their beliefs on becoming the final "Sekirei." "I'm sorry... I failed again this year." Minato Sahashi had moved to Tokyo, which he had longed for, but after failing his university entrance exams, he became a rōnin (a student retaking exams). He spent his days aimlessly, with no close friends and certainly no girlfriend; he was what one might call emotionally exhausted. Moreover, that very day, he decided to attempt the exams for a second time. Walking home with low spirits in the cruel real world, Minato encountered a sudden sight: a beautiful girl falling from the sky before him. Her name was "Musubi." A girl who called herself a "Sekirei," she chose Minato as her destined partner, her "Ashikabi." "I fight for everyone!" With the bond between Minato and Musubi, the story begins— This is a new myth woven by humans and Sekirei. This is a lovely war chronicle unfolded by the Sekirei. This is a miraculous love story spun together with those destined for you. "Everything is for an eternal union with the one you love."
