Fullmetal Alchemist series

The 2009 TV adaptation follows the manga story and is a different interpretation from the 2003 version.

For an entry into the manga adaptation, begin at episode one here; the 2003 series is not a prerequisite.

The 2003 series and 2005 film form another continuity; they are not seasons before or after the 2009 version.

For the other interpretation, start the 2003 series separately, then watch its film. Choose either route rather than joining both into one chain.

This registered derivative is supplementary, not a sequel season connecting the two TV versions.

Skip it on a first pass; consider the supplementary material after the 2003 version.
