Mai-Otome

The stage of Mai-Otome is the planet Aer, to which humanity migrated from Earth in the past, and the two major wars that occurred at that time (the War of the Twelve Kings and the Dragon King War). One night, the Windbloom Kingdom's (Fuuka Kingdom) palace was invaded, the king and queen were killed, and the Otome who served the king disappeared. Fourteen years later, Arika Yumemiya (Ari), a girl who crossed the desert on foot, arrived at Garderobe Academy, the only school in the world training Otomes. She came to the Fuuka Kingdom carrying her mother's keepsake, the "Azure Jade," searching for her mother, from whom she had been separated immediately after birth. Upon entering the country, Arika accidentally met Garderobe Academy preparatory student Nina Wang and Princess Shirogane Blanc du Windbloom of the Fuuka Kingdom. The three were suddenly attacked by slave beasts controlled by the Black Group, but the "Azure Jade" on Arika resolved the crisis. Ariska tried every way to enroll and finally became a preparatory student at Garderobe Academy, but her life was very difficult. An anonymous benefactor solved Arika's tuition problem. After that, she accidentally entered the underground of the palace with Shirogane and discovered the ancient superweapon "Gothic Organ." Immediately afterwards, they were attacked by the Black Group's slave beasts, so Shirogane had no choice but to make a contract with Arika using the "Azure Jade," and subsequently defeated the slave beast with the power of the Azure Jade. Later, Arika infiltrated the shrine where the True Ancestor resides and learned about the darkness hidden behind the glorious history of the Otomes. She discovered that the "Otomes," as war weapons, were divided into friend and foe and forced to fight, causing disruption. She also realized her feelings were drawn to Nina's adoptive father, Sergei Wang, and began to hesitate. On the other hand, Shirogane met the young monarch of the Nihon Country, Tokiha Takumi Tadanori, who pointed out what she had failed to do. She temporarily abandoned her responsibilities and duties as a queen, but remembering her promise with Arika, she decided to see whether Arika would become the most excellent Star First or she herself would become a queen who makes everyone happy first. However, the Altai Duchy and the Black Group were proceeding with a plan. First, they incited a battle between the Star Firsts Romulus and Remus, and then tampered with the palace during the inauguration ceremony of the new Windbloom Palace. During the graduation commemorative dance battle, the Black Group launched a general attack. As a result, both the Windbloom Kingdom and Garderobe Academy fell into the hands of Enfu De Altai (Nagi De Alti). They captured Shizuru Viola, and Natsumi Kuruge (Natsuki Kuruge) had no choice but to flee the Windbloom Kingdom. Arika, fleeing, was blocked by a slave beast possessed by her best friend Erster Hose. At that time, Arika learned that the anonymous benefactor who helped her was Sergei. Nina's jealousy erupted instantly, reacting with the long-missing precious stone "Black Diamond," making a contract with Ensa. When Nina attacked Arika, Erster blocked the attack, but Erster disappeared along with her slave beast. Unable to forgive Nina for killing Erster, Arika and Nina ended up hating each other...
